Moving/Rigging

All of our products and equipment are crated or boxed for parcel or LTL freight delivery. We require that our customers have an appropriate receiving area to deliver them in proper condition. Most equipment delivery will require a dock-height receiving door and pallet jack or fork lift truck. Typically, freight carriers do not have additional delivery equipment and do not provide “white glove” inside delivery. We can provide delivery with liftgate service to deliver at ground level. Pallet-handling and receiving area is still required. In the event of special circumstances, we can deliver to a third party machinery moving and rigging company of your choice. Please make us aware of the arrangements prior to release of your order.

 

If your equipment installation requires special rigging, second floor delivery, or other special moving arrangements, it is important that the customer make them prior to scheduling the installation. Our installation field service technicians are not equipped with any carts, straps, dollies for moving purposes. They are installers. not movers.

Installation services include:

• Uncrating the equipment
• Assembly of the system
• Positioning the system
• Connectivity of the system to appropriate site ports and power
• Charging the system with ink
• Calibration of the printheads
• Configuration and training of printer use and maintenance
• Installation of software drivers
• Installation of RIP (if applicable)
• Configuration and training of workflow software (driver or RIP)
• Produce test print

Assemebly of the printer in many cases requires the assistance of helper(s) to seat the head unit on the stand.

It is important that crating materials be retained for a short time period, to ensure proper operation of the new system. In the unlikely event an equipment exchange is needed, it is important that the unit be shipped in the original packing materials whenever possible.
